Duck Legs

Friday night I made duck confit with venetian style pasta with pan fried baby arugula on the side. The lemon zest venetian style pasta went really well with the duck.

Cooking is just like conducting chemistry experiment in the kitchen.

Here is our valentine's day home made dinner

We followed a new cookbook I acquired during my business trip in Kingston. Why did I go all the way there to buy a cookbook, given how lazy I am? This special cookbook is called "chez piggy cookbook" and chez piggy is one of my favourite restaurants when I was still a Kingston resident. Don't get me wrong, it is still one of my favourite, but it is just a bit far to get to, and even harder to have a chance to share this wonderful place with my loved ones, so I decided that I should bring this special memory of my university life home with me to share with everyone. Hopefully I can master all the dishes in the cookbook and be able to share that with all of you wherever I go.
